Magus in FT Adviser Top 100 Financial Adviser list
Dante Peters – FT Top 100 Advisers

We are so proud to be placed in 71st position in the FT Adviser Top 100 Financial Adviser list.

Investors want to know that their money is being managed by the best people and this list provides a snapshot of some of the very best firms operating in the UK today.

There are a number of factors that are measured, key to investors seeking the best person to nurture and protect their finances.

The quality of a firm isn’t just about how much cash it brings in. Growth rate, number of advisers, number of years’ experience in managing assets in different economic and interest rate environments and how qualified its advisers are - are all measured, including how well clients and advisers are retained.

All in all, clients want advisers that can create a financial plan based on their personal and financial goals, they want to know they are dealing with proven professionals and that their adviser will be with them for the long term, through both the ups and downs.

At Magus, our clients are central to everything we do, we all live and breathe that value. We’re a collection of individuals who all care passionately about what we do. That’s why making it on to this list means so much to us.

MacMillan cancer support | World’s biggest coffee morning

It was more of a week for us at Magus than a morning and if cake eating were a sport, we’d definitely be in with chance of going to Tokyo in 2020…

We could also enter a team for the competitive baking event too – every day during the last week of September, a new selection of goodies turned up in the office, including homemade spiced apple cake, rocky roads, (plus a ‘healthy version’) cheese scones, ginger biscuits, chocolate brownies, sausage rolls, plus an ongoing supply of kindly donated shop bought goodies too.

In true Magus style, we came together as a team – and after weeks of training we managed to munch our way through a small mountain of treats and in the meantime raise just under £350 for MacMillan cancer support – with the aim of helping people living with cancer live life as fully as they can.

Thank you to everyone for joining in – from baking, eating and donating.

If you’d like to donate go to: https://www.macmillan.org.uk/donate – however large or small your donation makes a difference.
